Yellow Collar Macaws
Average size 17 inches, 250 grams of weight. This mini macaw is usually given the award of being the best talker in the group of small macaws. It's been said that some are "great talkers". Also usually sweet in nature, they seem to have a gentle streak and can be quite loving and cuddly.
Sometimes not easy to find on the pet market, you may have to search one of these out.
As with most Macaws, a well made cage, a pelleted diet with a high quality seed/nut mixture and plenty of fresh veggies. And don't forget the toys!
