Gold Capped Conures
Another affectionate, good family pet, the Gold Capped Conure resembles the Jenday Conure but is more green in it's coloration.
Usually capable of learning speech, some can be taught a rather large vocabulary. They seem to be friendly with all family members and not so likely to bond with only one person.
Purchase a cage with smaller bar spacing and adequate room for toys and perches. 22" x 24" is adequate. They can be somewhat noisy, and will quickly learn to "yell for you", if you reward calling by taking your bird out of the cage. They seem to enjoy learning tricks and all interaction with their people.
