Goffin's Cockatoos
Goffin's Cockatoos are a smaller cockatoo, approximately 32 cm in length, and 220 to 385 grams in weight. But what they may lack in size, they can make up for in being equally loud, and just as destructive of cages and toys as the larger cockatoos.
Goffin's and Bare-eyed are similar in appearance, although the Bare-eyed is usually a little longer, 40 cm, and exhibits the unusual bare skin around the eyes. Somewhat more independent and willing to spend time alone, the Goffin's and Bare-eyed Cockatoos still love their people,
and love to be cuddled, but if you set the parameters when you first bring these balls of fluff home, you can lead a long happy life with one of these masters of mischief in your home. Fun, rambunctious, and always entertaining, these Cockatoos love music and will even dance while enjoying their favorite song. House them in at least a 34" x 32" cage.
