Camelot Macaws
Undoubtedly one of the most colorful of the hybrids. The beautiful Camelot is the Scarlet Macaw bred with a Catalina Macaw. Because the Catalina is ALSO a hybrid, (Scarlet to Blue & Gold), the Camelot is primarily Scarlet in genetics.
House this spectacular Macaw if a very large, well made cage. He will destroy it if you do not consider quality. A diet of pellets, nuts and seeds, in addition to fresh veggies, fresh fruit, well cooked eggs and white meat, and pastas and grains is necessary for both good health and to prevent boredom.
Toys will be enjoyed and chewed and are a must, not an option. Rotate frequently to keep this bird entertained.
