SEPTEMBER'S BIRD OF THE MONTH IS TWO BIRDS!

Happy Fall to all our Customers!   Baby season is coming to an end again and just when we think we will never get through another busy baby time, we do!

September's bird is really two birds that I want to highlight, both in the Cockatoo family, but two different species.  I the Cockatoos, as most people know, but there are not for everyone.... They are very loud birds, demanding of your time, and needy.   They really just want to be with you twenty-four hours a day, and make the work "companion" almost an understatement!  But if you think you have the time and patience for one of these loving birds, here are two that are weaned and ready to go!

We have a Ducorp's Cockatoo available, a DNA male.   He is a character and I am really kind of surprised that he is still here.  Ducorp's are usually hard to find, thought to be a fair talker in the Cockatoo family, and usually not considered to be as loud as most.

Ducorp's are a smaller Cockatoo, approximately twelve inches, but need a large, well made cage, to hold up to their destructive nature and active play.   This little boy LOVES any toy he can get to and is a wonderful eater.  He has been weaned onto pellets, a little healthy nut mixture, and lots of fresh veggies.

He is already talking and cannot wait to find a home where he has people all to himself!   We call him "Dukie" and he is going to make someone such a fun playmate!

The second Cockatoo that I would like to highlight this month is a Lesser Sulfur Crested Cockatoo that is as gentle and sweet natured as you will find.  She is a DNA female and weaned and ready to go.   We call her "Diamond" because she is one in a million.   Actually quite quiet for the Cockatoo group and just as cuddly as can be.

She also has started to talk a little bit.  She says "Hi Diamond" and "come here".    This one will just let you hold her all day long.

Diamond is also eating pellets and fresh vegetables.   She loves an occasional scoop of nuts as a treat.   She is also a smaller Cockatoo, approximately twelve to fourteen inches.   She needs lots of room to play and space for lots of toys in her cage.

Call us today if you think you might be the perfect home for either of these great Cockatoos!   They can't wait to meet you!

We are available seven days a week, TOLL FREE at 877 808 5472.   We will arrange shipping to your nearest major airport on Delta Airlines or if you live close enough, you can come visit all the birds and pick Diamond or Dukie up in person!

Call us if you have any questions, we look forward to hearing from you!
